West Federal Retail Opens a New Retail Format Called Brick & Mortar

West Federal Retail (WFR), the parent company of Lou Lou Boutiques, Crème de la Crème and Zest announced today that it plans to open a new format called Brick & Mortar in Leesburg, VA.

“Originally slated as a new Zest Clothing store opening, we changed plans once we fully understood the changing demographics of the foot traffic in downtown Leesburg,” says Ben Wegdam, owner of West Federal Retail. “Brick and Mortar will feature many U.S. branded gift products for him and her, in addition to home goods products. Think of it as a collection of products that each have a story to tell, that are unique and create conversation. The foot traffic on King Street wants to be entertained and next to the breweries and restaurants, we hope to create an exciting and fun retail experience,” according to Wegdam.

WFR has had a Lou Lou accessory store in downtown Leesburg for almost 15 years and used to have a Crème de la Crème location as well. “We have always liked Leesburg and Loudoun county. With the influx of more restaurants and entertainment we chose Downtown Leesburg over many other potential locations for the opening of our first Brick and Mortar concept”, says Michelle McNaughton, Director of Public Relations at WFR.

Brick and Mortar will be located on 32 S King Street and is projected to open on April 15, just in time for the Leesburg Flower and Garden Market.
